Thames College of Technology is located in a fast developing area. Woolwich Arsenal, close to World Heritage sites in Greenwich, an area previously occupied by the former University of Greenwich, right in the heart of Woolwich. Entrance is at Wellington Street.

From Airports
Gatwick Airport:
Gatwick Airport has its own railway station. Take the “Thameslink” train to London Bridge (journey takes about 30 minutes) and change at London Bridge Woolwich Arsenal (15/20 minutes).

Heathrow Airport:
The airport is on the London Underground, Piccadilly Line. A service runs every 5-10 minutes into Central London. Take the underground service and change at London bridge to Southeastern service to Woolwich Arsenal Train Station. The journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

City Airport:
This is the closest airport to the campus. From the airport, take the No. 473 bus to North Woolwich. Use the ferry service to crossover the Thames River to Woolwich Arsenal.  This service is free.

From Central London
By train:
From Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge to Woolwich Arsenal. Train journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

By Docklands Light Rail (DLR):
The closest station to the University Campus is “Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich”. Change service to South eastern service to Woolwich Arsenal.

By Road:
The A2 and the A20 provide access to Greenwich. The Blackwall Tunnel links Greenwich with the northern side of the Thames. However, due to the high levels of traffic in Greenwich and the very strict parking regulations in the area, visitors are advised to use public transport whenever possible.
